Arana Hankin-Biggers Standing Up for The Legal Market In New York
Arana Hankin-Biggers speaks with Joyce about envisioning and building The Travel Agency (formerly the Union Square Travel Agency) a cannabis store in New York City. Prior to jumping into the emerging cannabis industry, Arana was involved with one of New York’s most scandalous political episodes as well as dabbling in New York real estate. In addition, she has a very interesting family history connected to liquor prohibition that has parallels to ending cannabis prohibition. This includes her role in reversing the decades of harm on communities of color. Arana is especially passionate about using her voice to attract and support women into cannabis and the Travel Agency highlights women made products. She is also the canna mom of two.
Culture Corner: Daisy Jones and The Six– a 10-part musical drama on Amazon based on the book by the same name about a 1970s rock back with parallels to Fleetwood Mac, such great music, and the fashion!! And Riley Keough who plays Daisy Jones is Elvis Presley’s granddaughter!
