Changing Cannabis Perception Through Experiences with Vanessa Oliver

Vanessa Oliver is the new CEO of the Cannabis Wedding Expo. Vanessa transitioned from the tech industry to cannabis event-planning during a pandemic. As the mom of two and a woman who has leaned-in hard, she knows about stress and the problems women experience when trying to be perfect just to get in the door. Vanessa had a cannabis epiphany on her journey from tech to event planning, and finds herself at the center of a movement in event planning - cannabis centric weddings - just as we are moving forward and toward a future with real, in person events. On this week’s podcast Joyce and Vanessa talk about her transition from PTA mom to cannabis event planner, her personal use during this stressful year, and what 2021 event is she most looking forward to.
