Chiah Rodriques Helping Folks In Mendocino County
Chiah Rodriques is a second generation cultivator and Joyce describes her as a first daughter of the cannabis industry! She is also a mom of two and is a pioneer in the back to land movement. When just a teenager herself, she met her husband and started living off the land. They are now in their 22nd cultivation season. Chiah is a native of Mendocino County in northern California, where there exists the perfect climate for our magical cannabis plant to thrive. And for those of you unfamiliar with this area, it is part of the infamous Emerald Triangle that also includes Humbolt and Trinity counties.
Although dismissed by some of the big boys in the cannabis game, Chiah has proven herself and her vision with her company Mendocino Generations, an alliance of legal, permitted farms in Mendocino County working together to grow, breed and create organic and biodynamic herbal medicines. True clean-craft cannabis.
And if that were not enough, Chiah is also featured in the documentary Lady Buds, telling the powerful stories of six courageous women navigating the wild west of the California cannabis industry.
