From Krush Groove to Kush Groove with Marcus Johnson-Smith
Are you hoping to hear an inspiring cannabis stories told by a real canna mom? Well, today we're telling an inspiring cannabis story of the son of a supportive canna mom.
Marcus Johnson-Smith, co-founder of Kush Groove, a Boston-based lifestyle and apparel boutique is an entrepreneur, writer and marketing professional. He shares his story of growing up in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and his happy memories of Sundays with his mom and aunt.
He is a serial entrepreneur with multiple businesses including the marketing firm Clearwater Branding, where his team helps companies drive ROI using cutting-edge growth marketing and growth hacking tactics. But now he is focused full time on the expansion of Kush Groove in Cambridge and south of Boston.
But the big idea Joyce and Amie find most inspiring is his initiative to get more women, single moms, into the cannabis industry. An idea he hasn't completely worked out yet, but hopes to implement when he opens his new dispensaries in 2020.
And of course, Amie shares her favorite thing and Marcus shares his favorite way to consume.
