Jessilyn Dolan Healing Generations in Vermont with Cannabis

Jessilyn Dolan joins Joyce from Vermont to discuss how her experience as a nurse focused on both supporting patients and conducting research on multi substance and opioid use disorders propelled her into the world of cannabis for health. Jessilyn is the co-founder of Nurse Grow Organics Hemp and CBD, the first clean green certified hemp farm in Vermont. She is also a patient and a caregiver and has spent decades cultivating and crafting medicinal herbs. In addition to her healing work she is also  using her unique voice as a board member of the American Cannabis Nurse Association, president of the American Nurses Association-Vermont, chair of their legislative advocacy committee, founder of the Vermont Cannabis Nurses Association, and co-founder of the Green Mountain Patients Alliance. On today’s show Jessilyn shares her journey of healing generations of patients in Vermont and how her own Grateful Dead childhood prepared her to be the powerful cannabis healing advocate she’s become.
