Meaka Brown Connecting Her Community To Cannabis
On Instagram Meaka Brown goes by the handle “Roxberry Girl” which is a connection to a neighborhood in Boston impacted by the war on drugs, Meaka’s home. On today’s show Joyce and Meaka talk about how her strong sense of community and unique skill set helped her transition from a city constable to the cannabis industry, and how her work allows her to do what she loves every day by connecting communities to cannabis.
Joyce also talks with Mallory Callahan the author of Mary Jane and the Medicine Train, a children’s book that explains in a fun way how cannabis works in our bodies.
