Sam Kanter Making Canna Cooking Accessible
Sam Kanter is the owner and operator of Dinner at Mary’s, a ready-to-cook meal kit business servicing Greater Boston, offering upscale three-course meal kits delivered with instructions for cooking fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Sam has worked in the food industry since 2007, garnering extensive experience in on-premise events and catering in the Boston restaurant scene. She started DAM to bring cannabis and cuisine to the people. She is a Zagat 30 under 30 winner and is known for pushing the envelope and creating unique experiences for her guests with a focus on hospitality.
Sam’s goal is to remove the negative stigma associated with cannabis and prove the plant’s potential. In Sam’s life cannabis plays multiple roles, many of which are productive, and she’s on a mission to educate on cannabis' positive impact.
And Joyce speaks with Alexandra Gomes, MCR Lab's Marketing Manager, about the second annual Cannabis Science Fair which will showcase some of the great cannabis science and innovation taking place across the various sectors of the industry. The fair will be hosted at Harvard University's Science Center in Cambridge on Saturday, December 3. The Science Fair is the culmination of MCR Lab's Science Over Stigma campaign that aims to challenge the misrepresentation of cannabis using science and research.
