Cannabis Chemistry with Caitlyn Krebs
Caitlyn Krebs joins Joyce from San Francisco where she is at the center of a new world combining tech and science and cannabis. Caitlyn is a biologist by training and a serial entrepreneur through practice, she has over 20-years of experience building companies at the intersection of science and technology. Caitlyn is now the CEO and co-founder of Nalu Bio - the leading innovator in the discovery and production of next generation cannabinoid ingredients – and she is focusing her impressive skills and competency to commercialize consistent, clean and effective cannabinoid products for health and wellness.
Caitlyn was raised in Hawaii but spent time on the east coast earning her degrees, and is now living in California - the perfect place for a canna mom. Caitlyn and Joyce discuss the the importance of chemistry for cannabis, the mission of Nalu Bio, and how she talks with her boys about cannabis.
Joyce also gives a book recommendation for The Great Escape, a thrilling and inspirational journey of the workers who rebuild our very important infrastructure after natural disasters and how a band of skilled Indian workers found justice through the lens of the civil rights movement.
