Lauren Mundell Building A Creative Cannabis Community
Lauren Mundell speaks with Joyce today from Colorado where she is using her public relations and marketing skills to develop the Hi-Curious content marketplace. Lauren found her own healing through micro-dosing cannabis, and was inspired to spread her understanding of the health benefits after a lifetime of believing cannabis was dangerous. She is now laser focused on connecting small and medium cannabis businesses with cannabis creatives to transform the cannabis marketing world.
Lauren and Joyce discuss her transition away from her corporate New York marketing lifestyle, her original vision of an on-line cannabis community, why she is now focused on solving the cannabis marketing problem, and how it feels to be a very cool canna mama.
Joyce also gives a shout out to Massachusetts cannabis sales hitting a record of just about $1.8 Billion in 2022, a drastic increase from that first retail sales in 2018 that were just $6.1 Million. Joyce reminisces on November 20, 2018, when she was in Leicester for that first day of legal retail cannabis. For her culture section Joyce recommends a show called Ginny & Georgia – which has a Massachusetts cannabis connection.
