Payton Shubrick Uplifting Springfield Pride

Payton Shubrick is a dispensary owner and operator in Springfield, Massachusetts, and she shares with Joyce how her journey into cannabis was not an obvious career path. After graduating from college, she wanted to return to her hometown to support the community that supported her and Payton found herself working with her local city government where she was introduced to the emerging cannabis industry. With the epiphany that cannabis could be something both beneficial and monetizable, she began her journey to become the CEO of a women-owned, black-owned and family-owned dispensary in Springfield, 6 Bricks Dispensary. Payton shares with Joyce her journey into cannabis, why she’s so committed to her community in Springfield, and what the secret sauce is of her family business.

Joyce also speaks with sisters Rileigh and Ashleen Aguilar about their dispensary training  program Take Root and why they are Chronic Gals podcasters.
